Teddy bear picnic

If you go down to the Palace today, you’re sure of a big surprise!

You and your favourite teddy are invited to join us for a magical day of family fun in the beautiful walled garden.

Pack a picnic from home or enjoy a delicious lunch from our café as you take part in a variety of teddy-themed activities. Little ones can get creative in a drawing workshop, listen to enchanting bear-themed stories and make their own bear ears to wear.

There will be lively storytelling sessions, playful teddy bear games and an exciting animal friends trail to follow through the garden. Don’t forget to bring your best cuddly friend along for a day of adventure and imagination!

Event details:

• This event is suitable for ages 3 – 7.
• The standard ticket covers entry for one child and one accompanying adult.
• Children must be accompanied by their parent at all times
• Home packed picnics are welcome, but all rubbish must be taken away with you.
• Food and drink options are available to purchase on the day.
• This event will go ahead in all weather unless it is unsafe to do so. Please dress appropriately.
• Buggies should be stored in the designated buggy park, which will be monitored throughout the event.
• Should you wish to cancel or amend your booking, you will be charged an amendment fee.
