Discover the wonders of nature at the Palace with our biodiversity home educators’ day!

Join a guided session to survey and record the diverse species across the Palace grounds. Learn about the crucial role of bees in our ecosystem during a special talk with our beekeepers. Get up close with aquatic life through pond dipping and spark your creativity with a nature-inspired craft.

This is a perfect day for young nature enthusiasts to connect with the environment and learn about the importance of biodiversity in a fun and engaging way!

Schedule:

10.00 – 11.30: workshop

11.30 – 12.30: lunch & independent exploring

12.30 – 13.15: themed activity

13.30 – 14.30: drop in crafts


Event details:

  • This event is suitable for ages 6 – 12.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Please bring your own packed lunch. There is also a café on site should you wish to purchase lunch.
