The secret Palace: among the rafters

Ever wondered what goes on behind the many doors of our famous Tudor courtyard? Find out on our new guided tour!

For over 1,300 years Fulham Palace was the home of the Bishops of London. With an interactive museum, historic staterooms, a Victorian chapel, 13 acres of botanic gardens, a shop, café and garden barrow there is a wealth of fascinating history to discover.

This tour will take you on a journey through the warren of rooms built by Tudor Bishop FitzJames, all the way up to the roof space above the great hall. Explore the amazing architectural features and incredible structures of the Palace not normally open to the public, including the Victorian stable block.
